HOW DO I GET STARTED IF I AM A BEGINNER?
You want to begin by simply grooving your swing every day. Since the Point3 performs like a golf ball, but allows you the freedom to practice anywhere, we suggest you begin by using the Point3 to hit balls for 15-30 minutes a day, when you can’t get to the range our golf course. Begin by hitting short shots in your backyard or neighborhood playing field. Take a bucket and put it 25 paces away from your hitting mat. With a pitching wedge, practice hitting the ball close to your target. Once you’ve been able to get a majority of the balls close to the target, place your target another 10-15 paces further and hit to that. Progress like this until you are hitting a full pitching wedge with confidence and accuracy. (About 35-50 yards) Once you’ve mastered this, you can move to other clubs. It’s important to note that that if you are a beginner, us the Point3 in conjunction with lesson and range time. There is no replacement for a good teacher.

WILL THE ALMOSTGOLF BALL HELP ME IF I AM A LOW HANDICAPPER?

Definitely! Just as basketball players shoot hundreds of free throws and 3 pointers every day, so can you hit hundreds of shots every day and groove an effortless swing. Best of all, you can do this safely and conveniently when you can’t get to the range. Furthermore, in the winter, the Point3 is the only ball to use when the course or range is closed. HOW DOES THE ALMOSTGOLF BALL COMPARE WITH WIFFLE AND OTHER HOLLOW PRACTICE GOLF BALLS?

You can use the Point3 in almost any open space. For your short game, all you need is 20-30 yards. This could be a backyard or over your house and into your pool. For longer irons the Point3 goes no further than 100 yards with a driver, so you can grab your 5-7 and 9 irons with a bucket of Point3 balls and practice on a playing field, open park area or even vacant parking lot or field. Since the Point3 flies a playing field friendly distance and its off-course safe, you can create numerous games with the Point3. WILL THE ALMOSTGOLF BALL HELP ME LOWER MY SCORES?

Definitely! The P3 allows you to practice every shot in your bag, every day, and that will lower your scores. Most golfers have neither the time or money to get to a range or course every day. Now you can supplement your range time with full swing practice in any backyard or playing field. And a player who can groove his swing with 10 buckets of balls a week is generally better than a player who can only hit one.

WHAT MAKES THE ALMOSTGOLF TECHNOLOGY UNIQUE?

Our unilateral cross linked foam construction, combined with patented internal pressure technology makes the Point3 revolutionary. HOW LONG WILL THE ALMOSTGOLF BALL LAST?

Since the Point3 is constructed with a patented cross link foaming technology, it’s virtually indestructible. You can hit it thousands of times and you will never break, tear or damage the ball. You can’t even knock the dimples off it over time. Of course the ball begins to get dirty over time, but that will not effect its flight or performance. It’s truly a marvel of modern thermo-plastic technology.

DOES THE ALMOSTGOLF BALL CONFORM TO USGA REGULATIONS?

As far as we know, there are no regulations for off-course safe practice balls. The Point3 is designed to allow you to practice in places that have traditionally been off limits to highly dangerous golf balls. Just like baseball, that has numerous softballs, now golf has a ball that is safe to use around the yard, on a playing field or park and can help you hit straighter, more accurate shots in just 15 minutes a day of practice.

CAN I USE THE ALMOSTGOLF BALL ON A GOLF COURSE?

Yes, but they are ¼ the weight of a traditional golf ball, so they only go about 100 yards max. They can definitely turn your local par 3 course into a legitimate par 5 course. And if you really want to have fun, they are a lot of fun to use around a schoolyard, just like playing Frisbee Golf. But to be honest, the golf course is where the golf ball is king.
