The day was highlighted by the number of players who came out to try their hand in the skills challenge and short course with over 150 participants signing up to be involved in the CGA Qualifier for the Nationals in Las Vegas. Now that's a campus shootout. Also, we heard similar comments at the other schools. There are a lot of high school golfers who want to play on campus and stay involved in the game. 

Per the course, it was a completely different type of layout compared to Missouri, Auburn or LMU. The Burmuda grass created real rough so that if you didn't get close to the pin, you needed a crafty short game to shoot a low score. When it comes next year's tournament, Miami is going to offer a real challenge. We look forward to bringing out the lawn mowers and cutting fairways, putting a premium on shot making and keep your ball out of the rough may make all the difference. Stay tuned for our Miami video.
