GOLF DEMO DAY


THIS HAD TO BE THE TIGHTEST GOLF EVENT WE'VE DONE SO FAR. It's a true testament to the safety of the almostGolf ball and how many players can compete in our skills competition in one day. I think we actually broke a record with over 200 students signing up for the Rutgers golf club in one day.

The event took place during Rutgers Rec Sports day so there were tons of other events going on. What was amazing about this was that they were going on right at the end of our 'driving range'. Lucky for us there was a nice big group of trees that knocked down a lot of the long balls. But even with the tree, balls were landing in the crowd...and no one seemed to mind. We knew this because students would pick them up, and come over and ask if they could hit some. I suspect this is the first time hitting 'golf balls' into a crowd not only doesn't hurt anyone, but gets them to come over and want to play.
