HOW ALMOSTGOLF IS GROWING THE GAME OF GOLF: Junior Golf education and Initiatives. We are very proud of the ways the almostGOLF ball is growing the game of golf. In this article we will talk about the almostGOLF grow the game initiatives for the coming years as well as ways we feel using our limited distance practice ball can open new doors to the growth of the game.young golfer

1. EVERYDAY ACCESS AND NEW GOLFER TRACTION - Teaching pros and retailers alike are seeing how more new golfers are sticking with the game of golf because of the convenience of practicing anywhere anytime. In the past all a new or junior golfer had were wiffle or foam practice golf balls that simply didn’t perform. Thanks to the unmatched performance and safety of almostGOLF ball new golfers are able to practice daily in convenient locations like their own yard, park or schoolyard with nearly the same ball striking value and feedback as if they were at the range or on the course.

2. almostGOLF IN-SCHOOL GOLF TEACHING PROGRAMS Thanks to our limited distance and off-the-golf course safety, golf is currently being taught safely on over 20,000 school campuses worldwide, where five years ago there were virtually no school programs. almostGOLF will continue to drive this process of bringing golf into schools safely and effectively and introducing the game to the next generation of golfers through partnerships with leading teaching professionals and golf organizations.

3. THE 2008 COLLEGE CAMPUS GOLF TOUR – This is nearly any young golfers dream. Cheering spectators To be able to take playing fields and open areas and play an off-course safe version of golf that is very much like disc golf…with golf balls. In 2008 almostGOLF is  taking the game of golf to places it's never been played before...and having a blast doing it. We have already hosted a series of events on the campus of Loyala Marymount University, UNLV, UCLA, USC, and Cal Poly Pomona. This fall we will now take golf to another 15 schools across the country. Simply put, welcome to the softball of golf.

HOW almostGOLF TECHNOLOGY CAN HELP TO GROW THE GAME OF GOLF:  There are many ways to grow the game of Phil Mickelson teaching juniorgolf some are expensive and others are very inexpensive. Teaching professionals, physical education teachers and golf club owners are finding that the most effective way to grow the game of golf and get new/junior golfers into the game and staying in the game of golf is to make golf more convenient for them to play and practice. The most effective way to do this is to promote the next generation of limited distance practice golf balls like the almostGOLF balls. The more we can help a Kid hitting golf ballnew golfer to practice even 15 minutes a day, the better chance we have of having them stick with the sport and get good enough to have fun. With the almostGOLF ball we can bring the fun of hitting, scoring and playing to millions of possible new golfers.

1. AFTER SCHOOL GOLF PROGRAMS: Bringing golf to student. What easier way to teach juniors golf than to bring a teacher to the students. Now you are teaching kids golf effectively without inconveniencing the parents. That is a way of teaching juniors golf that will have traction because the kids are now learning golf in their world and on their terms.

2. IN SCHOOL GOLF PROGRAMS: There are now thousands of schools that are able to teach golf in gyms and on playing fields because of the advance of off-course safe golf balls.

GOLF TOURNAMENTS: Now there is a whole new way to grow the game of golf through on-campus golf tournaments like golfathons and charity golf tournaments that make a lot of money. The best part of almostGOLF charity fundraising tournaments is that you get to keep every dollar because it is your high school campus or playing fields you are playing through.

4. CREATING RETAIL TRACTION WITH NEW GOLFERS
AND JUNIOR GOLFERS: Simply put, kids love this ball and new golfers love the fact that they can conveniently practice in their backyard or neighborhood. Retail traction in golf has been a tough road because if a new golf customer does not live near a golf course or driving range, they seldom practice their golf game. As a result they loose interest in the game of golf and their clubs end up in the garage. We are growing the game of golf by allowing retailers to provide a golf ball that gives new and junior golfers the best chance possible to hone their skills and become good at golf faster and with a great deal more convenience.

5. HOOKING NEW GOLFERS:
We all know the guy who comes in and buys the big set of golfKids running for ball clubs only to find out he/she lives ten miles from a golf course...clubs end up in garage and not in the trunk. If a golf retailer wants to hook a new golfer, give them a golf ball that will allow them to practice conveniently. That ball is the almostGOLF ball.

6. almostGOLF MAKES LEARNING THE GAME OF GOLF FUN: Going to a golf driving range is no fun. It’s travel time, its expensive and its over before you know it. almostGOLF is growing the game of golf by giving new, junior and serious golfers a new option to practice conveniently, where ever they live. That is going to grow the game of golf faster than any other program. Just make golf less expensive and more people will play.

Dave Pelz teaching junior7. OVER VIEW: JUNIOR GOLF TEACHING PROGRAMS work best when you bring the game of golf to the students, just like every other big sport. Remember, junior golf teaching programs that try to fit kids into a mold and put up barriers like time and travel do not have the same traction as junior golf teaching programs that allow the student to feel comfortable in their own world and progress at their own level. With the almostGOLF ball, junior golf teaching programs can now fit a junior’s skill level and have them experience success faster. And the faster they get to experiencing success, the better chance you have at getting them to come back to your junior golf teaching program.
