WELCOME TO THE 2009 TOUR: The almostGOLF™ ball has successfully broken the safety barrier and made it possible to 'leave the golf course' and bring the game of golf to new audiences. The 2009 almostGOLF™ College Tour does what traditional golf is not able to do...bring golf on to campus and to students and players of all ages and skill levels. Events are played around campus or on playing fields and open areas.

We have partnered with the College Golf Alliance (CGA), a 1,400 member network of college intramural golf programs throughout the US. Through our relationship with CGA, we have developed on campus events using the almostGOLFTM ball designed to promote golf and increase participation within each school's intramural golf club. The clubs play traditional golf and compete in tournaments during the schools year. Regional qualifiers travel to Las Vegas in November to compete in a 36 hole National Collegiate Intramural Championship. For more information visit www.cgagolflinks.com.
OUR RESULTS:
Schools visited so far have reported increased club membership, participation and a growing interest in the game of golf. Several golf clubs have started on-campus golf leagues that promote practice and development of shot making skills. Club members are seeing benefits of practice through lower scores when playing on traditional golf courses.
